She says, the time, the moments, when they were together, were something. Why didn’t she care to remember any God then. At the same time, now that they are far from each other, she still loves him. She tells her beloved, whenever she recalled him, out of pain and anguish of separation, she remembered God. Essentially, like in Sufism, these lines equate the beloved with the almighty God and vice versa. 4. हो के तुझ से जुदा, ग़म के सिवा क्या पाया था, याद आया तू तो ख़्वाबों का कदा याद आया, चीज़ हर एक दिलाती है मुझे याद तेरी, देखा आईना तो फिर चेहरा तेरा याद आया, ho ke tujh se judaa, Gam ke sivaa kyaa paayaa thaa, yaad aayaa tuu to KHvaabo.n kaa kadaa yaad aayaa, chiiz har ek dilaati hai mujhe yaad terii, dekhaa aa.iina to phir chehraa teraa yaad aayaa, कदा - home, abode She confesses, she never got anything other than pain, sorrow and anguish by separating from him and whenever she recalls him, she feels like having recalled that dream home of their togetherness. Now, each and everything reminds her of him, and, to the extent that, even when she looks into the mirror, she sees his reflection in her own image. With this hyperbole, the song slowly fades away with repetition of the hook leaving the listener in deep emotions and lingering taste of beautiful melody woven around great wordings.
