He requests her not to go into the garden waving her charming, fresh and fragrant hair because he is afraid, flowers will stop spreading their fragrance in the shame of seeing someone far more fragrant and beautiful then they are. 3. कब ये अरमानों को होगी फ़िक्र मेरी, कब वो दिल को यूँ जलाना छोड़ देंगे, kab ye armaano.n ko hogii fikr merii, kab vo dil ko yuu.n jalaanaa chho.D de.nge, In this couplet, the poet, with beautiful personification of his desires, expresses his intense pain of desires to be with her again and wonders when these burning desires will start showing concern about him and will stop paining, tormenting his heart. 4. तू अगर बस जा मेरे इस दिल में हम-दम, फिर ख़ुदा को दिल में लाना छोड़ देंगे, tuu agar bas jaa mere is dil me.n ham-dam, phir KHudaa ko dil me.n laanaa chho.D de.nge, In this climactic couplet, the poet heightens his expression with Sufi undertone and tells her, “o my love, if you come to inhabit my heart, I will stop letting in even God in my heart”, essentially elevating his beloved to the status of God, reflecting Sufi ideology that love itself is sacred and divine.
